Sébastien Boko is a Beninese multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans sculpture, painting, installation, performance, and slam poetry. His works merge traditional Beninese spirituality with contemporary artistic expression, creating powerful narratives around identity, femininity, and collective memory.
A winner of the National Wood Sculpture Competition in Benin, Boko has since exhibited and participated in major international projects in China, Japan, Turkey, Egypt, Switzerland, Tanzania, Austria, and New Zealand. His art has been shown at the 1–54 Art Fair (New York), Bordeaux Art Fair (France), and the BISO Biennale of Sculpture (Burkina Faso), where he received the 3rd Prize in 2023.
