Inspired by Homowo, this work explores how Ga identity is intentionally shaped and preserved across generations.

This work reflects the active role of the Ga community in shaping its cultural future. Drawing from the Homowo festival, it speaks to practices that honor the past while intentionally carrying tradition forward. The notion of “sculpting” evokes a conscious act of preservation—molding identity, memory, and heritage to endure within a rapidly changing world.
