Dreams and Reflections began during the global pandemic, a period that brought the world to an unexpected standstill. Conceived as a meditative pause, the installation reflects on the fractures of the contemporary world—war, abuse of power, pandemics, famine, and the plight of migrants and refugees—while ultimately celebrating the resilience that defines the human spirit.

For Tessi, our shared humanity is the common thread that binds us all. It is this collective experience that gives each individual the capacity to endure, adapt, and flourish despite adversity. The artist suggests that the challenges facing humanity cannot be confronted in isolation but must be understood and overcome together.

To express these universal concerns, Tessi turns to familiar, everyday objects.
