Art Continum welcomes submissions from artists around the world, with a particular interest in practices connected to Africa and its diaspora. Please review the following requirements before completing our artist application form.

  1. Complete the application accurately and in full. Only complete submissions will be considered.

  2. Prepare your submission in Google Drive. Provide one folder link containing:

    • An artwork catalogue in PDF format, listing each work’s title, year, medium, dimensions with units, selling price and currency, availability, current location, and any relevant descriptions or handling requirements. State whether prices are retail prices or the amount you expect to receive.

    • A separate folder of artwork images, clearly named to match the entries in your PDF. Include the artwork title, dimensions, and medium in each filename. Label additional views and detail images accordingly.

  3. Make your files accessible. Set your main Google Drive folder to “Anyone with the link” — Viewer and ensure all files inside can be opened. Paste the folder link into the application form. Individual image uploads or pictures sent separately will not be accepted.

  4. All sold artworks must be shipped to Art Continum in Ghana. If a client or collector purchases your work, regardless of their location, you must ship the artwork to us in Ghana, West Africa. Art Continum will inspect the work and, upon acceptance, take responsibility for fulfilling the order and arranging delivery to the buyer. You must never ship directly to the client or collector.

If, upon inspection, the artwork does not match its submitted images, description, stated condition, or agreed specifications, Art Continum will not forward it to the buyer. Any issues must be resolved before the order can proceed. Shipping costs, responsibilities, and arrangements for works that are not accepted will be addressed in the onboarding agreement.

  5. Participate in promoting your artist page. Once your Art Continum artist page is live, you must include its link in your social media bio and actively promote your page and available works. Art Continum will also promote your page through its channels.

  6. Apply through the form only. Submissions sent by email or social media will not receive a reply or consideration.

  7. Complete the form before email correspondence can begin. Selected applicants will be contacted after review. Completing the form does not guarantee a response or acceptance.

  8. Submit original work you are authorised to offer. Disclose any existing representation, exclusivity agreements, or restrictions affecting the sale or promotion of your work.

  9. Provide clear images and accurate details. Images must faithfully represent the artworks. Disclose any damage, restoration, or special installation requirements.

  10. Keep pricing and availability current. Once onboarded, promptly inform Art Continum of sales, reservations, price changes, or other changes affecting listed works.

  11. Understand that selection does not guarantee sales. Applications are reviewed individually. Any collaboration, including its scope, commission, and responsibilities, will be subject to a separate agreement.
